This work investigates the nature of pattern and habit, ritualised movements which may seem mundane to those performing them on a regular basis but are made all the more sacred when taken out of context. Acts of routine and repetition are often more explicitly noticed and taken with care in isolation, when exterior distractions are few and far between. Butterflies circling as per their usual route, but accompanied by flowers, tiny daggers, bright colour and busy repetition it creates a state of frenzy and confusion, of looking into a colourful, unnerving abyss. Miniscule wings beating feverently, though they make no sound to the human ear

Our confined social isolation draws us physically inwards in to our domestic spaces, with the home becoming a confined cell for an undefined amount of time. Our means of escape come through the form of our digital screens, connecting over the internet as we reminisce of times we once had and dream for times we will share....

but not gonna lie this is kinda driving me insane.......
